Local MP Kit Malthouse raised the issue of Andover’s Levelling Up Fund bid with the Deputy Prime Minister at PMQs this week.
Commenting on his website, Kit said:
“When you apply for a PMQ you enter a ballot along with every other member and so you have about a 1 in 400 chance of getting a question. This week I was lucky to be picked, although the Prime Minister was away at the NATO summit, so his Deputy Answered.
“What did we learn? It’s coming shortly, and they understand the importance of our town, and its bid.“
